As part of Milan Fashion Week, the debut collection of Fendi’s new creative director, Maria Grazia Chiuri, was presented. In her first work for the House, the designer reinterpreted the brand’s key codes, weaving them into a cohesive and structured story.
This is evident from the very first looks: almost every outfit features the iconic Baguette bags – a signature symbol of Fendi – as well as recognizable fur elements that remain an essential part of the brand’s DNA.
The autumn-winter collection also embraced current trends. Among them are fur-trimmed vests in a boho aesthetic, «workwear» jumpsuits, and lingerie-inspired pieces: dresses and tops adorned with lace details. Special attention goes to the removable collars with a fluffy texture – one of the most versatile ways to incorporate fur into everyday wardrobes.
Details were also emphasized. Clothing and footwear with tiger prints appeared on the runway, confidently making a comeback in fashion and seemingly here to stay. Coats and trench coats with this pattern, as well as long fringes decorating dress hems, add dynamism to the looks.
Among the star guests of the evening was Jessica Alba. This time, the actress appeared alongside her 14-year-old daughter Haven, who has visibly grown up and bears a striking resemblance to her mother.
Social media users immediately noted their harmonious looks and obvious similarity: similar facial features, smiles, and mannerisms made this appearance one of the most talked-about. Judging by Haven’s confidence in front of the cameras, it seems likely that we will soon see her not just in the front row, but on the runway herself.
