Total red: Sharon Stone attended a charity event in New York

And shared how she survived a stroke
Recently, New York hosted the American Heart Association’s Red Dress Collection charity event, dedicated to raising awareness about cardiovascular diseases.
Among the star guests was Sharon Stone. During the event, the 66-year-old actress spoke about how she survived a stroke and a brain hemorrhage in 2001, which nearly cost her her life. At the time, Stone had to step away from her career and completely change her life.
«I left the hospital dragging my right leg, unable to write my name, and 18% of my body mass was gone. I had a brain hemorrhage for nine days. Many thought I was going to die», the actress recalled.
Her recovery took nearly seven years.
«I couldn’t read for several years. My first real step toward recovery took about seven years, and that’s a very long time in Hollywood. People stop caring about you. It’s like trying to return to an old job after seven years», Stone said.
For the event, Sharon Stone chose a stylish monochrome look. She appeared in a dazzling red Nicolas Jebran jumpsuit, which she paired with golden Roberto Cavalli sandals and a matching THEMOIRè clutch. Her look was completed with round earrings as accessories.
