The winner of «Miss Universe 2025» has been announced

The title went to the representative of Mexico
Thailand hosted the grand finale of the 74th international beauty pageant «Miss Universe 2025». This year, 120 contestants from around the world competed for the crown, but only 30 reached the final stage.

As tradition dictates, the event featured runway presentations in cocktail and evening gowns, swimsuits, and national costumes.

The title of Miss Universe 2025 was awarded to Fatima Bosch, a 25-year-old representative of Mexico. Since the age of fourteen, she has volunteered at an oncology hospital and supported teenagers who have faced difficult life crises. In the final, she demonstrated remarkable resilience.

In early November, during a closed meeting, Thai media magnate and director of «Miss Universe Thailand», Nawat Itsaragrisil, sharply criticized Bosch, claiming that she had not promoted the host country actively enough on social media. Not allowing her to finish her explanation, he publicly called her «stupid» and threatened to disqualify her supporters. Bosch left the meeting, and several contestants – including Miss Universe 2024, Victoria Kjær Theilvig – followed her in solidarity.
The incident instantly drew international attention, and the Miss Universe Organization condemned Nawat’s behavior as «malicious».
With her victory, Fatima secured Mexico’s fourth crown in the history of the pageant.

Second place went to Thailand’s representative, Pravinar Singh, and third place to Stefany Abasali of Venezuela. Rounding out the Top Five was Olivia Yacé from Côte d’Ivoire.
