The Duke and Duchess of Westminster become parents for the first time

The couple has welcomed a baby girl
Hugh Grosvenor, the 7th Duke of Westminster, and his wife Olivia, who now holds the title of Duchess of Westminster, have become parents for the first time. The couple welcomed a baby girl named Cosima Florence Grosvenor.
The birth took place in London, and both mother and baby are doing well.
«The Duke and Duchess of Westminster are delighted to announce the birth of their daughter. Both the Duchess and Cosima are doing well. The Duke and Duchess are looking forward to spending this special time together as a family», said a statement received by People.
Many believe that Prince William might become the godfather of the newborn, as he is a close friend of Hugh. The Duke of Westminster is the godfather of Prince William’s eldest son, Prince George, as well as Prince Harry’s son, Archie.

It is worth recalling that news of the Duke and Duchess expecting their first child became public earlier this year.
It should be noted that in the Grosvenor family, titles are passed down only through the male line, which means that only a male heir can inherit. Therefore, the newborn daughter will not be able to inherit the title of Duchess of Westminster or the family estate, but will hold the title of Lady.
