Previously, rumors circulated online that Katy Perry had begun dating former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau following her split from Orlando Bloom.

Yesterday, those rumors were confirmed: the singer and the politician were photographed kissing aboard the 24-meter yacht Caravelle off the coast of Santa Barbara, California. Exclusive shots, taken by a tourist from a passing vessel, were published by The Daily Mail.

«I didn’t realize who she was with until I noticed the tattoo on her arm – and immediately recognized Justin Trudeau», said a witness.

Trudeau indeed has a recognizable tattoo on his left shoulder – a Haida raven, a symbol honoring the Indigenous peoples of Canada.

Rumors of a budding romance between the pair first emerged in July, when they were spotted dining at Montreal’s Le Violon restaurant. According to eyewitnesses, the meeting had a warm, almost intimate atmosphere: Katy smiled frequently, listened attentively, and animatedly shared stories, while Justin appeared unable to take his eyes off her.

At that time, both declined to comment on the nature of their relationship.

As a reminder, Justin Trudeau separated from his wife Sophie Grégoire in 2023 after 18 years of marriage. The couple has three children: sons Xavier and Hadrien, and daughter Ella-Grace.

Katy Perry confirmed her split from Orlando Bloom in early July. They share a daughter, Daisy, born in 2020. Prior to that, the singer was married to comedian Russell Brand.
