British actress Vanessa Kirby, best known for her roles in the series The Crown and the Mission: Impossible franchise, has become a mother for the first time.

The joyful news was shared by her fiancé, former professional lacrosse player Paul Rabil, who posted the first photos of the newborn on Instagram.

«I’ve realized that parenthood both slows you down and awakens you. Immensely grateful that every morning we wake up with your mother feeling an enormous love – because you are now in our lives», wrote the happy father in the caption.

The baby’s name and gender have not been disclosed yet, but judging by the color of the baby’s clothes, it appears the couple welcomed a boy.

News that the Oscar-nominated actress was expecting a child first emerged in June of this year, when she appeared at the Fantastic Four film photocall in Mexico with a visibly rounded belly.

Vanessa and Paul began dating in 2022. After two years together, they announced their engagement at the end of last year, though they have yet to marry. Previously, Kirby dated actor Callum Turner, who is now engaged to singer Dua Lipa.
