Time magazine has unveiled its annual list of the most influential people on the planet — individuals with whom nearly everyone aspires to collaborate, befriend, or simply stand alongside.

Among them is fashion’s favorite and the new creative director of Chanel, Matthieu Blazy, who was included in the «Innovators» category. In the «Artists» section, the list features pop star Jennie, actress Dakota Johnson, and filmmakers Benicio del Toro and Jafar Panahi.

The «Titans» category recognizes the achievements of designer Ralph Lauren, as well as actors Zoe Saldaña, Ben Stiller, and Anok Yai.

Meanwhile, Victoria Beckham made a somewhat unexpected appearance in the «Icons» category, alongside actress Kate Hudson, early-2000s comedy star Hilary Duff, and figure skater Alysa Liu.

The Prince and Princess of Wales have been included in the prestigious Time 100 list of the most influential philanthropists of 2025, compiled by the American magazine Time. They were recognized in the «Innovators» category for their contributions to modernizing royal philanthropy.

Time highlighted their work through The Royal Foundation, which focuses on issues such as homelessness, mental health, and early childhood development. Notably, in 2020, Prince William launched the Earthshot Prize –an environmental award supporting innovative solutions for protecting the planet.

Special attention was given to Kate Middleton’s Shaping Us initiative, through which she collaborated with the LEGO Group and Deloitte to study the economic impact of investing in child development. The research found that such investments could contribute over £45.5 billion ($60 billion) to the UK economy annually.

«The key to the Welsh couple’s approach lies in aligning social imperatives with sound business strategies and forming corporate alliances to broaden their impact», the magazine noted.

Alongside the royal couple, other notable philanthropists included in the Time 100 list are David Beckham, Melinda Gates, Warren Buffett, Michael Bloomberg, Oprah Winfrey, and Dolly Parton.

American magazine TIME has published its traditional annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world. The 2025 list appeared on the magazine’s official website.

This year’s ranking includes individuals from six main categories: Leaders, Titans, Innovators, Artists, Icons, and Activists. In the «Most Influential Leaders» section, U.S. President Donald Trump was featured along with five members of his administration — the highest number since 2009. These include Elon Musk, Vice President J.D. Vance, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., businessman Howard Lutnick, and former White House official Russell Vought.

In the category of «International Political Leaders,» UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Syrian ruler Ahmed al-Sharaa were also recognized.

Another milestone of this year’s list is the highest-ever number of business figures — 16 in total. Among them are Walmart CEO Doug McMillon, designer Miuccia Prada, Netflix Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos, and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

The «Titans» category includes legendary tennis player Serena Williams and actress Blake Lively.

Among the «Innovators» are South Korean singer Rosé and Nobel Prize–winning chemist Demis Hassabis. Actors Demi Moore and Adrien Brody, along with French model Giselle Pellico, are listed as «Icons.»

In the «Artists» section are British singer Ed Sheeran, American actress Scarlett Johansson, and singer Nicole Scherzinger.

In total, this year’s list includes individuals from 32 countries.

The American magazine Time has traditionally announced its «Person of the Year». For 2024, this title was awarded to the newly elected U.S. President Donald Trump. The publication highlighted his achievements in political restructuring, advancing the American presidency, and redefining America’s role in the world.

«His first term ended in disgrace when his attempts to overturn the results of the 2020 election culminated in the attack on the U.S. Capitol. He was shunned by most party officials when he announced his candidacy in late 2022 amidst numerous criminal investigations. In just over a year, Trump cleared the Republican field, winning one of the fastest presidential primaries in history», the article states.

Trump was previously named Time’s Person of the Year in 2016 when he first won the U.S. presidential election.

It is known that other nominees included Kamala Harris, Elon Musk, Kate Middleton, Mark Zuckerberg, and others.
