Ryan Gosling recently appeared as a guest on Jimmy Fallon’s late-night talk show, The Tonight Show. The actor visited the studio as part of the promotional campaign for his new film Project Hail Mary, which is set to premiere on March 20.

That evening, Gosling was joined by his partner Eva Mendes. The occasion was particularly special for the actress, as she had celebrated her 52nd birthday just a day earlier.

To mark the moment, the show’s team prepared a surprise birthday tribute for Mendes during the broadcast. The studio filled with the song «Happy Birthday», accompanied by a marching band performance and a shower of confetti that added to the festive atmosphere.

As the couple rarely appears in public together, their joint appearance quickly sparked lively interest online. During the interview, Gosling also took the opportunity to share a few warm words about his wife, emphasizing how important her support is to both his life and career.

For reference, Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes first met in 2011 on the set of the film The Place Beyond the Pines. Their relationship soon followed. In 2014, the couple welcomed their first daughter, Esmeralda, and two years later their second daughter, Amanda Lee, was born.
