On the eve, London hosted the high-profile premiere of a new film starring Jason Statham – the action thriller Shelter. The screening took place at Cineworld Leicester Square and brought together the film’s cast, crew, and a host of celebrity guests.

The undisputed star of the evening was, of course, Statham himself, who was joined by his partner and the mother of his two children, model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

The premiere was also attended by the film’s director Rick Roman Waugh, known for Greenland and Angel Has Fallen, as well as actress Bodhi Rae Breathnach.

Shelter blends high-octane action with dramatic depth. Set on a remote coastal island, the film tells a tense story in which Statham’s character – a man who has voluntarily turned his back on civilization in favor of a solitary life – rescues a young girl during a devastating storm. From that moment on, he is forced to re-enter a brutal game where not only his life is at stake, but also his inner balance.
