Earlier, we wrote about Selena Gomez announcing her engagement to her boyfriend, producer, and songwriter Benny Blanco.

An insider from the Daily Mail shared how the singer’s ex-boyfriend, Canadian artist Justin Bieber, reacted to the news. Despite being married to model Hailey Bieber since 2018 and welcoming their son Jack Blues Bieber this year, Justin was reportedly taken aback by the announcement. He saw it as the definitive end of their long history together.

«Justin is married and has a child — we all know that. But when he heard about Selena’s engagement, he admitted it hit him for a second. Even though they’ll never be friends, date, or anything like that again, it’s officially the end of an era», the source noted.

Let us remind you that Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber were one of the most beautiful star couples. They dated for several years, breaking up and reconciling multiple times during that period. The couple officially split in 2018. Four months after the breakup with Gomez, Justin proposed to Hailey.
