<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p data-start="2249" data-end="2578">Milan Fashion Week is in full swing: alongside other major Houses such as Fendi, Prada presented its vision for the Fall/Winter 2026/2027 season. The show was among the most highly anticipated events of the season, once again reaffirming the brand’s reputation as an intellectual provocateur within the realm of classic luxury.</p>
<p data-start="635" data-end="912"><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" class="alignnone wp-image-138933 size-full" src="https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/13-2.jpg" alt="" width="1080" height="1350" srcset="https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/13-2.jpg 1080w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/13-2-240x300.jpg 240w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/13-2-819x1024.jpg 819w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/13-2-768x960.jpg 768w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/13-2-370x463.jpg 370w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/13-2-800x1000.jpg 800w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/13-2-185x231.jpg 185w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/13-2-740x925.jpg 740w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/13-2-20x25.jpg 20w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/13-2-400x500.jpg 400w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/13-2-38x48.jpg 38w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></p>
<p data-start="635" data-end="912">Fifteen models took part in the presentation, each appearing on the runway four times – resulting in approximately 60 distinct looks showcased to the audience.</p>
<p data-start="635" data-end="912"><img decoding="async" class="alignnone wp-image-138934 size-full" src="https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/1-14.jpg" alt="" width="1080" height="1350" srcset="https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/1-14.jpg 1080w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/1-14-240x300.jpg 240w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/1-14-819x1024.jpg 819w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/1-14-768x960.jpg 768w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/1-14-370x463.jpg 370w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/1-14-800x1000.jpg 800w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/1-14-185x231.jpg 185w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/1-14-740x925.jpg 740w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/1-14-20x25.jpg 20w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/1-14-400x500.jpg 400w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/1-14-38x48.jpg 38w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></p>
<p data-start="635" data-end="912">One of the most talked-about moments was the return of Bella Hadid, who stepped back onto the runway after a hiatus.</p>
<p data-start="914" data-end="1279"><img decoding="async" class="alignnone wp-image-138935 size-full" src="https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/7-4.jpg" alt="" width="1080" height="1350" srcset="https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/7-4.jpg 1080w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/7-4-240x300.jpg 240w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/7-4-819x1024.jpg 819w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/7-4-768x960.jpg 768w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/7-4-370x463.jpg 370w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/7-4-800x1000.jpg 800w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/7-4-185x231.jpg 185w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/7-4-740x925.jpg 740w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/7-4-20x25.jpg 20w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/7-4-400x500.jpg 400w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/7-4-38x48.jpg 38w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></p>
<p>The collection is defined by an aesthetic of deliberate «carelessness». Sheer coats with intentionally exposed threads, shirt sleeves peeking out from beneath outerwear, dresses with frayed hems and decorative slashes create a sense of effortless improvisation. It is a style in which randomness only appears accidental.</p>
<p data-start="1281" data-end="1716"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone wp-image-138936 size-full" src="https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/3-10.jpg" alt="" width="1080" height="1350" srcset="https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/3-10.jpg 1080w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/3-10-240x300.jpg 240w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/3-10-819x1024.jpg 819w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/3-10-768x960.jpg 768w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/3-10-370x463.jpg 370w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/3-10-800x1000.jpg 800w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/3-10-185x231.jpg 185w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/3-10-740x925.jpg 740w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/3-10-20x25.jpg 20w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/3-10-400x500.jpg 400w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/3-10-38x48.jpg 38w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></p>
<p>Attention is drawn to striking details: floral-print coats reminiscent of dressing gowns; a fuchsia velvet zip-front dress; apron-like skirts adorned with red bouquet appliqués, sequins, and crystals. Knitted scarves are tied «the old-fashioned way», with the ends turned outward; alternatively, fur styles – including leopard-print versions – offer a bolder accent.</p>
<p data-start="1718" data-end="2117"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone wp-image-138937 size-full" src="https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/2-9.jpg" alt="" width="1080" height="1350" srcset="https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/2-9.jpg 1080w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/2-9-240x300.jpg 240w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/2-9-819x1024.jpg 819w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/2-9-768x960.jpg 768w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/2-9-370x463.jpg 370w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/2-9-800x1000.jpg 800w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/2-9-185x231.jpg 185w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/2-9-740x925.jpg 740w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/2-9-20x25.jpg 20w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/2-9-400x500.jpg 400w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/2-9-38x48.jpg 38w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></p>
<p>The show clearly outlined one of the season’s key directions: layering, the interplay of contrasting textures, and a focus on detail. Here, clothing emerges not merely as an aesthetic object but as a tool of self-expression. Prada once again reminds us that fashion is not only about form, but also about meaning, narrative, and the character behind every look.</p>

<p>Renowned fashion brand Prada has found itself at the center of controversy due to its new collection presented at Milan Men’s Fashion Week. On the runway, leather footwear was showcased that the Indian public quickly identified as traditional «Kolhapuri» sandals – named after the city of Kolhapur.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone wp-image-132568 size-full" src="https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/2.jpg" alt="" width="1080" height="1350" srcset="https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/2.jpg 1080w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/2-240x300.jpg 240w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/2-819x1024.jpg 819w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/2-768x960.jpg 768w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/2-370x463.jpg 370w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/2-800x1000.jpg 800w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/2-185x231.jpg 185w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/2-740x925.jpg 740w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/2-20x25.jpg 20w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/2-400x500.jpg 400w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/2-38x48.jpg 38w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></p>
<p>These sandals are handmade from natural buffalo or goat leather without the use of any metal components. They are characterized by an open toe, thick sole, and intricate embroidery. The thick sole provides excellent cushioning, while the open front allows the foot to breathe. In 2019, the Indian government granted Kolhapuri sandals Geographical Indication (GI) status – certifying their regional origin and marking them as authentic cultural heritage.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone wp-image-132569 size-full" src="https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/depositphotos_709053844_s.jpg" alt="" width="1000" height="667" srcset="https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/depositphotos_709053844_s.jpg 1000w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/depositphotos_709053844_s-300x200.jpg 300w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/depositphotos_709053844_s-768x512.jpg 768w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/depositphotos_709053844_s-370x247.jpg 370w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/depositphotos_709053844_s-800x534.jpg 800w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/depositphotos_709053844_s-20x13.jpg 20w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/depositphotos_709053844_s-185x123.jpg 185w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/depositphotos_709053844_s-740x494.jpg 740w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/depositphotos_709053844_s-400x267.jpg 400w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/depositphotos_709053844_s-72x48.jpg 72w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /></p>
<p>Indian artisans and activists pointed out that Prada failed to acknowledge the cultural roots of the design, instead presenting the footwear as a generic leather model. Craftspeople expressed particular frustration over the drastic price difference: while such sandals can be purchased in India for around $12, Prada’s version costs nearly $850.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone wp-image-132570 size-full" src="https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/1.jpg" alt="" width="1080" height="1350" srcset="https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/1.jpg 1080w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/1-240x300.jpg 240w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/1-819x1024.jpg 819w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/1-768x960.jpg 768w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/1-370x463.jpg 370w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/1-800x1000.jpg 800w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/1-185x231.jpg 185w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/1-740x925.jpg 740w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/1-20x25.jpg 20w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/1-400x500.jpg 400w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/1-38x48.jpg 38w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></p>
<p>Later, Prada representatives clarified that the design was inspired by Indian Kolhapuri sandals and updated the description on their official platforms.</p>

<p>Two of Italy’s biggest fashion powerhouses — and longtime rivals — have joined forces: Prada has acquired the iconic fashion house Versace.</p>
<p>This comes hot on the heels of another stunning announcement: Donatella Versace recently stepped down as creative director of Versace.</p>
<p>Now, according to the BBC, fashion giant Prada has purchased Versace from holding company Capri Holdings for a staggering €1.25 billion. With this move, Prada positions itself as a strong Italian competitor to French fashion titans, particularly the LVMH Group, the outlet reports.</p>

<p>Even the most popular brands occasionally come up with creative ideas to delight their fans with something exclusive and impressive. Think of Jacquemus’ bus-bags that roamed the streets of Paris.</p>
<p>Now, the Italian brand Prada has taken over this «wow» trend with its signature photo booths.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-large wp-image-127858 aligncenter" src="https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/3-hours-of-waiting-for-just-3-seconds-of-prada-photo-vienna-pradaphotobox-819x1024.jpg" alt="Prada’s photo booth in Vienna creates a buzz among locals" width="819" height="1024" srcset="https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/3-hours-of-waiting-for-just-3-seconds-of-prada-photo-vienna-pradaphotobox-819x1024.jpg 819w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/3-hours-of-waiting-for-just-3-seconds-of-prada-photo-vienna-pradaphotobox-240x300.jpg 240w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/3-hours-of-waiting-for-just-3-seconds-of-prada-photo-vienna-pradaphotobox-768x960.jpg 768w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/3-hours-of-waiting-for-just-3-seconds-of-prada-photo-vienna-pradaphotobox-370x463.jpg 370w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/3-hours-of-waiting-for-just-3-seconds-of-prada-photo-vienna-pradaphotobox-800x1000.jpg 800w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/3-hours-of-waiting-for-just-3-seconds-of-prada-photo-vienna-pradaphotobox-185x231.jpg 185w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/3-hours-of-waiting-for-just-3-seconds-of-prada-photo-vienna-pradaphotobox-740x925.jpg 740w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/3-hours-of-waiting-for-just-3-seconds-of-prada-photo-vienna-pradaphotobox-20x25.jpg 20w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/3-hours-of-waiting-for-just-3-seconds-of-prada-photo-vienna-pradaphotobox-400x500.jpg 400w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/3-hours-of-waiting-for-just-3-seconds-of-prada-photo-vienna-pradaphotobox-38x48.jpg 38w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/3-hours-of-waiting-for-just-3-seconds-of-prada-photo-vienna-pradaphotobox.jpg 1080w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 819px) 100vw, 819px" /></p>
<p>They have already caused a stir in London, New York, and Singapore. And now, they are drawing massive queues of eager visitors in Vienna.</p>
<p>For several days now, the photo booth has been located in the Tuchlaubenhof district. From 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, anyone can take a picture — alone or with friends. The administrator carefully places the printed photo into a Prada-branded envelope and hands it over to the owner.</p>
<div style="width: 720px;" class="wp-video"><video class="wp-video-shortcode" id="video-127852-1" width="720" height="1280" preload="metadata" controls="controls"><source type="video/mp4" src="https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/prada-photo-booth-pop-up-in-vienna.mp4?_=1" /></video></div>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Prada’s photo booth quickly became a sensation in Vienna, largely thanks to local bloggers who actively shared videos and pictures on social media.</p>
<div style="width: 720px;" class="wp-video"><video class="wp-video-shortcode" id="video-127852-2" width="720" height="1280" preload="metadata" controls="controls"><source type="video/mp4" src="https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/prada-photo-booth-pop-up-in-vienna-1.mp4?_=2" /></video></div>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>As a result, the wait time for a photo can now reach up to three hours.</p>

<li><strong>Opening hours:</strong> Daily 10 AM – 7 PM, until Saturday, February 1, 2025</li>

<p>Experts from Lyst, a platform specializing in analyzing consumer behavior in the fashion industry, have named the most popular brands and items for the third quarter of 2024. The Italian brand Miu Miu has reclaimed the top spot in the ranking, pushing last quarter’s leader, the Spanish label Loewe, down the list. Prada ranks third, followed by Saint Laurent in fourth place, with Alaïa completing the top five. Other popular retailers include Bottega Veneta, Jacquemus, Gucci, The Row, and Valentino.</p>

<p>Among the most coveted items, Alaïa’s perforated ballet flats took first place. They are followed by Coach’s Brooklyn bag and Puma’s Speedcat sneakers. Also making the list are Toteme’s work jacket, Ganni’s biker boots, and Tom Ford’s sunglasses, which bear a striking resemblance to the famous Phoebe Philo model.</p>

<p>Lyst regularly publishes its ranking of the most popular brands and products. The company’s analysts examine user behavior, including product searches, views, sales, as well as social media mentions and global activity and engagement statistics over a three-month period.</p>
