<p>German designer Philipp Plein, known in the fashion world as the <em>«</em>king of bling<em>»</em>, paid an incognito visit to the Austrian capital on Tuesday. His appearance came as a real surprise to customers at the Philipp Plein flagship store in Vienna.</p>

<p>According to store managing directors Ernst and Manuela Fischer, the designer first held a meeting at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, after which he stopped by the boutique for a short visit, much to the amazement of the staff and guests.</p>
<p><em>«It was an incredible moment to see Plein in person,»</em> they told oe24.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="size-large wp-image-132404 aligncenter" src="https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/plein-4-768x1024.jpg" alt="Star designer Philipp Plein unexpectedly visited Vienna" width="768" height="1024" srcset="https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/plein-4-768x1024.jpg 768w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/plein-4-225x300.jpg 225w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/plein-4-370x493.jpg 370w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/plein-4-800x1067.jpg 800w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/plein-4-185x247.jpg 185w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/plein-4-740x987.jpg 740w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/plein-4-20x27.jpg 20w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/plein-4-400x533.jpg 400w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/plein-4-36x48.jpg 36w, https://theinsider.at/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/plein-4.jpg 960w" sizes="(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px" /></p>
<p>Although the visit was brief — Plein arrived in Vienna in the morning and flew back the same day — for the store team and brand fans, it was a memorable event. Meeting the star designer in person was an unforgettable experience for everyone present.</p>
