ORF star Teresa Vogl has revealed the gown she will wear at the 2026 Vienna Opera Ball. The dress was created by renowned Austrian designer Eva Poleschinski, whose signature style is instantly recognizable through its nature-inspired aesthetics, flowing fabrics, and refined organic forms.

For one of the most prestigious social events of the year, the designer crafted a couture gown in a rich shade of green. The look features a fluid velvet bodice with striking mesh elements that seamlessly transitions into a wide, classic ballroom skirt. Feathers provide the final accent, emphasizing the luxurious interplay of materials. As the wearer moves, the skirt shimmers and glows, making the gown an ideal choice for dancing.

Eva Poleschinski admits she is delighted to continue her collaboration with the ORF presenter. She notes that this year’s design was deliberately kept monochromatic, in contrast to the vibrant color palette of last year’s ball. According to the designer, Teresa Vogl wears the gown with great elegance, blending modernity with a subtle vintage sensibility.

Teresa Vogl herself also shared her impressions of the look. She remarked that the gown evokes associations with Hollywood films of the 1930s and 1940s and recalls the atmosphere of Gone with the Wind, reinterpreted through a contemporary lens. The presenter emphasized that it is especially important to her that the dress be comfortable for dancing — and this design fully meets that requirement.

Hollywood actress Sharon Stone will be the guest of honour in the private box of Austrian entrepreneur and renowned producer of cream-filled puff pastry rolls (Schaumrollen), Karl Huschlbauer, at the 2026 Vienna Opera Ball. The film star’s visit will not be limited to Vienna alone: during her stay in Austria, she is also set to travel to the town of St. Willibald — the birthplace of Austria’s famous Schaumrollen.

«After welcoming Priscilla Presley last year, it is a great honour for me to host another international star in St. Willibald — Sharon Stone,” Karl Huschlbauer said enthusiastically. “The fact that she will accompany me to the Vienna Opera Ball this year is, of course, the icing on the cake. Her charisma, elegance, and commitment to social causes perfectly reflect our brand and our understanding of haute cuisine.»

This will not be Sharon Stone’s first visit to Vienna. The Golden Globe-winning actress previously attended the Life Ball in 2008 as a guest of Gery Keszler.
