Eric Murphy, the son of Eddie Murphy, and Jasmin Lawrence, the daughter of Martin Lawrence, are preparing to become parents for the first time. The happy news was shared by the couple on social media, where they posted a series of touching photographs. The images reveal Jasmin’s visibly rounded baby bump.

«Thank you, Jesus, for the greatest gift», they wrote in the caption.

The couple has not yet disclosed the baby’s gender.

For the record, Eric Murphy and Jasmin Lawrence announced their engagement in December 2024 after three years together. In the spring of 2025, the couple secretly tied the knot in an intimate church ceremony, officially uniting two legendary families of Hollywood comedy icons.
