At the end of July, the new action comedy «The Naked Gun» directed by Akiva Schaffer hit the big screen. Although the film hasn’t yet achieved impressive box office numbers, audience reviews have been mostly positive. The movie is praised for its humor, dynamic plot, and spectacular scenes. But one of the main reasons for all the buzz isn’t the script or the special effects.

The spotlight is on the film’s leading actors — Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson. Their appearance at the premiere, filled with tender glances and warm moments, confirmed the rumors of a romance. It was later revealed that the couple has been together for almost a year. Their love story began right on set, where, according to Pamela, she immediately felt calm and protected with Liam — for the first time in a long while.

Anderson admits that her previous relationships were emotionally draining. Meanwhile, Neeson, having endured personal tragedies, had long avoided new romantic connections. But this time, he decided to give love another chance.

For reference, Pamela Anderson has been married three times, while Liam Neeson is a widower. His wife, Natasha Richardson, tragically passed away in 2009. News of the actor’s new romance has come as a true sensation for fans of both stars.

British actor, action star, and «Star Wars» veteran, Liam Neeson, has announced his retirement from the film industry. The 72-year-old artist has decided to step back to make space for younger actors.

However, age has been the main reason — Neeson admitted that physical demands have become increasingly challenging for him, and he’s not comfortable with the idea of more scenes being performed by stunt doubles in his place.

«I’m 72, and at some point, it had to come to an end. Viewers can’t be fooled; I don’t want Mark (the actor’s double — Ed.) doing all the fight scenes for me», —  Neeson told People magazine.

According to Liam, he plans to finish work on a few projects this year, aiming to step away by 2025. It’s likely that «Naked Gun» and «Retribution», slated for release at the end of 2024, will be his last films.

However, the question remains whether he will retire from all acting or just from action films.
