Despite a substantial marketing budget of nearly €30 million, analysts expect opening weekend earnings of only around €4.2 million, reports BILD.

The situation in the United Kingdom is particularly telling. In London, only a single ticket was sold for the first Friday screening at 3:10 PM at the Vue Cinema in Islington. A Vogue correspondent wryly noted, «After watching the trailer, I know less about this woman’s life than before». BILD’s editorial team considers this indicative of a wider trend for documentaries in the streaming era, when audiences are increasingly skipping cinemas for non-fiction films.
