British singer Ed Sheeran has closed out the year with a delightful surprise for his fans. The 33-year-old artist released a music video for his song Under The Tree, the soundtrack to Richard Curtis’s film «This Christmas», which premieres on Netflix on December 4.

In the video, Ed Sheeran stars alongside actress Claudia Jessie, best known for her role as Eloise Bridgerton in the popular series. The video captures a romantic festive atmosphere, with Sheeran and Jessie playing a couple preparing for the coziest celebration of the year.

At the same time, the video depicts scenes of solitude experienced by the protagonist, reflecting the song’s emotional depth. Inspired by the storyline of the film, Sheeran created the track with heartfelt emotions.

«This song is about a character in the film who wants to spend Christmas with his dad but can’t. It’s a very moving scene, and it’s something so many people go through every year, spending Christmas alone», — Sheeran shared.
