Rihanna became the undisputed star of the annual Crop Over Festival in her native Barbados. The singer joined the vibrant Grand Kadooment Day parade, the island’s long-standing celebration marking the end of the sugar cane harvest.

The superstar caused an immediate sensation with her appearance — and for good reason. For the carnival, the 38-year-old chose an exceptionally striking costume adorned with hundreds of turquoise, pink and gold crystals. The dazzling look was completed with enormous multicoloured feathers, an elaborate headdress featuring dramatic decorative elements, and an impressive backpiece. Dressed in the extravagant ensemble, Rihanna truly looked like the queen of the carnival.

It is worth noting that Rihanna regularly returns to her homeland to take part in the celebrations. She also holds the title of National Hero of Barbados. Just a few days earlier, she and her husband, rapper A$AP Rocky, celebrated the third birthday of their son Riot on the island.
