Swarovski Illuminates the Champs-Élysées for the Holidays

In celebration of the brand’s 130th anniversary
To mark its 130th anniversary, the Austrian brand Swarovski has become the exclusive sponsor of the festive Christmas lights on Paris’s Champs-Élysées. From November 16 to December 26, 400 trees will be adorned with sparkling lights, while 200 decorative kakemono featuring the Swarovski logo will stretch across the two-kilometer avenue between the Arc de Triomphe and Place de la Concorde.

The installation was created using advanced programmable LED technology developed by Blachère Studio under the direction of renowned lighting designer Thomas Deschandon. A highlight of the event was the ceremonial lighting, led by actress Léa Seydoux alongside two children from the association Les Petits Princes, combining the festive spirit of Christmas with a meaningful social initiative.
For visitors, Swarovski has opened a temporary boutique at 1 Place Charles de Gaulle, opposite the Arc de Triomphe. The boutique features jewelry collections and home decor items, including the Vienna line, designed by global creative director Giovanna Engelbert.
The pavilion is constructed from modular containers and recycled materials, such as wood and Dibond, reflecting Swarovski’s commitment to sustainability. The space also includes personalization zones, ensuring an interactive experience for all visitors.

This project celebrates not only Swarovski’s historical legacy—founded in 1895 and now present in over 140 countries—but also the brand’s dedication to responsible luxury. The company’s latest collections are crafted using renewable energy and recycled metals.
In this way, Swarovski does more than illuminate the Champs-Élysées: the brand merges tradition and innovation, demonstrating that light can be not only beautiful but also a conscious choice.
