Swarovski and Minecraft: jewelry brand releases crystal figurine collection inspired by the game

A coveted object
Austrian brand Swarovski has unveiled an unexpected collaboration with the popular video game Minecraft, creating a series of crystal figurines inspired by the game’s iconic characters. The collection is already available in Swarovski stores across Europe and the United States.
The lineup includes four figurines: Steve, Alex, Creeper, and Pig. Prices start at €300, with the main characters, Steve and Alex, costing €30 more. According to Swarovski, the figurines are made of the brand’s signature crystal and feature high detail — for example, the Creeper figurine has 264 facets that reflect its distinctive appearance.
«This is a unique opportunity for Minecraft fans to see their favorite characters in an entirely new form — as collectible decorative pieces,» the brand’s website states.
However, Swarovski emphasizes that the figurines are not toys and are not intended for children under the age of 15 — they are stylish interior elements or gifts for fans of the game.
Interest in Minecraft has surged again this year — thanks to the release of the game’s film adaptation, which became a box-office hit and broke records among video game-based movies. The collaboration with a luxury jewelry brand only reinforces the game’s influence far beyond gamer culture.
