Style showdown: Julia Roberts and Amanda Seyfried in Versace
At the Venice film festival
The 82nd Venice International Film Festival, running until September 6, is in full swing. While the nominees wait in suspense for the coveted Golden Lion, all eyes are on the stars’ looks on the red carpet.
Among the guests yesterday was Hollywood actress Amanda Seyfried, best known for her roles in «Dear John» and «Mamma Mia!». The 39-year-old star posed for the paparazzi wearing blue jeans paired with a striped shirt and a Versace blazer.
Just two days earlier, however, Julia Roberts had appeared in the very same outfit.
But this was no styling mistake – on the contrary, it was a deliberate fashion choice. As it turned out, Seyfried herself requested to borrow the look after photos of Roberts, taken during a press conference for the film «After the Hunt», were published. This was also confirmed by the actresses’ stylist, Elizabeth Stewart.
And so we can’t help but ask: Who wore it better?
