Stephen Fry was knighted for charity and environmental protection

King Charles III of the United Kingdom has knighted the renowned British actor, writer, and television presenter Stephen Fry.
The solemn ceremony took place at Windsor Castle, where Fry was granted the title of Knight Bachelor.
Stephen Fry is one of the most influential intellectuals of modern Britain, known for his roles in film and theater, comedic performances, numerous books, and active public engagement.
He received the award in recognition of his significant contributions to raising awareness of mental health, environmental protection, and charity.
In addition to Fry, the ceremony also honored outstanding athletes, including Poppy Maskill, Dina Asher-Smith, and Amy Truesdale.
