Schnitzel and a walk around the city: OneRepublic visited Vienna

Just days ago, OneRepublic took the stage at the Lovestream Festival in Bratislava. But before heading there, the band made a short stop in Vienna to soak up the city’s unique atmosphere and savor its culinary delights.

Frontman Ryan Tedder and his bandmates visited the legendary Figlmüller restaurant, where they indulged in the iconic Viennese schnitzel. Photos and impressions from the evening quickly appeared on both the singer’s and the band’s Instagram accounts.

Despite a tight schedule, OneRepublic managed to stroll through the historic center of Austria’s capital. The musicians were particularly struck by the city’s architecture — on Weihburggasse, they stumbled upon a two-hundred-year-old archway and turned it into an impromptu acoustic stage. The spontaneous street performance became a delightful surprise for passersby in the very heart of Vienna.

Only a few hours later, the group continued on to Bratislava, where they performed their biggest hits — including «Counting Stars» and «Apologize» — in front of a massive festival audience.
