Princess Beatrice becomes a mother for the second time

A joyful event has taken place in the British royal family. Princess Beatrice, the granddaughter of the late Queen Elizabeth II, has become a mother again. According to Buckingham Palace’s announcement, she and her husband, Italian aristocrat Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, have welcomed a daughter.
The baby girl was born on January 22. The delivery went smoothly, and both mother and child are in perfect health. The newborn has been given the beautiful name Athena.
«The King and Queen, as well as other members of the royal family, have been informed and are delighted by the news. Her Royal Highness and her daughter are healthy and doing well», reads the official statement on the royal family’s Instagram page.
The announcement was accompanied by a photo of the newborn.
This is the couple’s second child. They are already raising their daughter Sienna, who was born in September 2021. In addition, Edoardo has a son, Christopher, from his previous relationship with architect Dara Huang.
As a reminder, Princess Beatrice is the daughter of Prince Andrew, the second son of the late Queen Elizabeth II. She married Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in July 2020.
