Oscar host for 2025 announced

Conan O’Brien takes the stage
The Oscars ceremony is always filled with excitement — not just for actors, directors, screenwriters, and other team members but also for the host tasked with entertaining the audience. Finding the right person for this responsibility is crucial.
This year, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has announced the host for the 2025 Oscars: American comedian and producer Conan O’Brien. The news was revealed in a short video on the social media platform X, where O’Brien holds an Oscar statuette and confidently claims he is the winner. However, a voiceover corrects him, clarifying that he will be the host, and the statuette is promptly taken away.
It’s worth noting that this will be O’Brien’s first time hosting the Oscars, with the ceremony scheduled to take place on March 2, 2025.
