Olga Torner’s confession in her new track Mirror

A lyrical manifesto

«Mrs. Universe 2016», founder of THEINSIDER.AT and singer Olga Torner has released a new track with the symbolic title Mirror.

The song reflects her personal experiences. At a time when Olga is going through a difficult period, music has become her way of voicing what everyday words cannot express.

Mirror sounds like the confession of someone standing on the brink of emotional burnout. The lyrical heroine feels «on the way», but not at home, longs to stay, yet is compelled to move forward. Behind the poetic imagery lie crisis, pressure, and the loss of direction.

Yet the song is not only about sorrow, but also about searching for a way out of the darkness. It is an honest dialogue with oneself and an attempt to find victory within defeat.

In this way, Mirror becomes a bridge between the singer and her audience. Through music, Olga shares her innermost feelings – fears, doubts, and hope. Sadness intertwines with faith, pain with consolation. It is a story of how negative experience can be transformed into a source of strength.

Though written in English, the song was penned by Ukrainian songwriter Angelina Bokovska.

«The lines «breaking high pressure» and «I’ve lost all my meanings» were born in a moment of acute crisis. But I know: in time, it will all be behind me. One simply has to wait», Olga admits.

This thought turns the composition into a manifesto of hope: even in the darkest moments, there is always faith that the light will return.

«Mirror is not only a reflection of a personal drama, but also a universal story for anyone facing pressure, loss, or confusion. It is an invitation to look into one’s own «mirror» and to see not only the pain, but also the strength to move forward», the singer adds.
