Miranda Kerr opens up about miscarriage for the first time
It was a boy
41-year-old Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr has joined the growing list of celebrities who have openly shared their experiences with miscarriage. According to Kerr, it happened after the birth of her eldest son, Flynn, with Orlando Bloom, who is now 13 years old. She revealed this during an interview on the Not Alone podcast.
«I actually had a miscarriage, and it was also supposed to be a boy, — Kerr recalled with sorrow.
However, becoming a mother for the first time made the model more attentive to her health.
«With each pregnancy, I became more informed and increasingly concerned about preventing it from happening again, — she noted.
Kerr was married to Orlando Bloom from 2010 to 2013. In 2017, she married Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel, with whom she has three sons: 6-year-old Hart, 5-year-old Myles, and newborn Pierre. Despite their separation, Kerr has maintained a warm relationship with Bloom, who is now married to Katy Perry, and she has also formed a close bond with his new wife.
During the podcast, Kerr also opened up about losing her first love in a car accident when she was very young, admitting that the experience left her devastated.
