Miley Cyrus has unveiled the trailer for her new album
«Something Beautiful»
We’re starting our day by watching the official trailer for Miley Cyrus’ upcoming album, Something Beautiful. It will be her first studio project in two years. The singer describes the album as «bold» and «expressive». The recording was done by Cyrus herself alongside producer Shawn Everett.
Something Beautiful will consist of 13 tracks, with the release scheduled for May 30th.
Special attention should be given to the album cover. It features Miley Cyrus in a vintage Thierry Mugler dress from 1997. The photo was taken by renowned fashion photographer Glen Luchford.
Along with the album, the singer announced a film of the same name, produced together with XYZ, Panos Cosmatos, Columbia Records, and Live Nation. The project’s directors are Miley Cyrus, Jacob Bixenman, and Brendan Walter, while the cinematography is handled by Benoît Debie.
In the film, Miley will appear in archival looks from Jean Paul Gaultier, Alexander McQueen, and Alaïa.
Let us remind you that the singer’s last album, Endless Summer Vacation, was released in March 2023. Its hit single Flowers topped the Billboard Hot 100 for eight weeks and set numerous streaming records. Additionally, the track won a Grammy for Best Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance, while the album was nominated for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album.
