Michael Jackson’s son announces engagement
After eight years together
Prince Jackson, 28, the eldest son of pop legend Michael Jackson, has announced his engagement to longtime girlfriend Molly Schirmang. The couple has been together for eight years.
Prince shared the joyful news on his Instagram account:
«Molly and I have shared many wonderful years and created countless unforgettable memories together. I’m excited for the next chapter in our lives», he wrote, accompanying the post with a series of photos of the two from different stages of their relationship.
Prince and Molly met when they were young – he was just 20 at the time. A year later, in an interview with People magazine, he spoke fondly of Molly, emphasizing how well they complemented each other:
«I’m more assertive, and she’s softer. We balance each other out», he said.
For context, Prince is the oldest of Michael Jackson’s three children. He and his sister Paris were born to the singer’s second wife, Debbie Rowe. The youngest son, Bigi (formerly known as Blanket), was born via surrogate.
