Meghan Markle officially changes her last name
The Duchess explains her decision
Prince Harry’s wife, Meghan Markle, continues to surprise the public. In the second episode of her new Netflix show «With Love, Meghan», she revealed that she has officially changed her last name. Specifically, she has given up her maiden name «Markle» and taken the last name «Sussex.»
The former American actress shared this during a conversation with American TV host Mindy Kaling.
«People wouldn’t believe that Meghan Markle ate at Jack in the Box,» Kaling said to the Duchess.
«It’s so funny that you keep «Meghan Markle.» You know that I’m Sussex now,» Prince Harry’s wife corrected Kaling.
She added that she decided to change her last name so that it would match her children’s.
«I love that it’s something Archie, Lili, Harry, and I all share. It means a lot to me,» Meghan concluded.
