Louis Vuitton presents a chocolate handbag

Just in time for Easter
Louis Vuitton is once again tugging at the heartstrings of fashionistas — and this time, it’s with… chocolate. That’s right! The legendary Egg Bag, a coveted piece among fashion aesthetes since 2019, has received a new — gastronomic — interpretation.
The mastermind behind this sweet haute couture creation is Maxime Frédéric, the brand’s pastry chef, who turned the iconic bag into a chocolate dream. The result is stunning: 37.1% dark chocolate replaces leather, 39% milk chocolate stands in for the hardware, and as the final touch — a filling of crispy roasted hazelnuts.
This hedonistic bag weighs 970 grams and costs €225. The limited Easter edition is now available in Louis Vuitton boutiques in Paris, Shanghai, Singapore, and New York.
But Louis Vuitton didn’t stop there — their Easter dessert set of three chocolate eggs is a treat of its own. Flavors include raspberry with pistachio, vanilla with buckwheat crunch, and milk chocolate with caramel and Tahitian vanilla. Price: €40.
Still, the true star of the season is the chocolate Egg Bag. It’s something you don’t want to carry — you want to savor it. And like everything Louis Vuitton creates, it’s timeless and trend-defying. Simply bon appétit à la mode.
