Forty-year-old Alana Hadid, the eldest sister of Gigi and Bella Hadid, has tied the knot. Her husband is Ross Williams, 42 — an Emmy Award–winning producer and mental health professional.
The couple met in 2021 through a dating app. «I had stopped believing I could meet someone online, but I decided to give it one last try — and there he was,» Alana recalled in an interview with British Vogue.
In 2023, Ross proposed on Alana’s birthday, presenting her with a family heirloom — an amethyst engagement ring.
The wedding took place on October 18 in the backyard of the Hadid family estate in Los Angeles.
«We wanted a place that held real meaning for us, so my dad’s house felt like the natural choice. Autumn in Los Angeles is such a beautiful time of year, and on that day I felt absolutely perfect,» shared the bride.
The intimate celebration gathered close friends and family. Bella and Gigi Hadid arrived barefoot in matching green dresses, while their brother Anwar was also in attendance. For the ceremony, Alana wore a vintage Vivienne Westwood gown, accessorized with amethyst jewelry by Dorsey.
For context, Alana is the daughter of Palestinian-American real estate developer Mohamed Hadid and his first wife, Mary Butler. She has long been active in the fashion industry — working in styling and PR, founding her own clothing and eyewear lines, and now serving as creative director of Watermelon Pictures, a Palestinian film company that supports underrepresented filmmakers.
