Lana Del Rey makes first public appearance after marriage
At a hitmakers’ party
American singer and queen of melancholic music, Lana Del Rey, made her first public appearance in her new role as a wife. After her September wedding to alligator hunter Jeremy Dufrene, the 39-year-old artist attended the Variety Hitmakers’ Music Brunch in Los Angeles.
For the event, Lana opted for a modest outfit consisting of a gray sweater and pants, complemented by a delicate and elegant diamond necklace and her signature retro hairstyle.
Lana Del Rey was not only a star guest of the event but also carried out an important task—presenting the «Producer of the Decade» award to her friend and long-time collaborator Jack Antonoff.
In her speech, the singer admitted that Jack Antonoff and his wife, actress Margaret Qualley, served as role models for her in building her own family.
«I’m grateful for the example he set for me in his marriage. I saw how he looked at her (Margaret) when we first met, and that’s one of the main reasons I waited so long to meet and marry my amazing husband», Del Rey said, noting how rare it is to find an honest partner in the music industry.
At the Variety brunch, singer Charli XCX was also honored as Hitmaker of the Year.
