Back at the beginning of summer, rumors began to circulate that one of France’s most beautiful couples – Laetitia Casta and Louis Garrel – were no longer together.
It’s said that the couple separated in late spring – the 47-year-old supermodel even managed to take a solo vacation in Corsica. Around the same time, the 42-year-old actor reportedly left the Paris apartment where he had been living with his family. This was reported by the French tabloid “Paris Match,” citing a source close to the couple.
So far, the couple hasn’t made any official statements, but the media is almost certain – the separation is final. According to sources, they plan to finalize the divorce quietly and without scandal, in order to protect their four-year-old son, Azel.
«Despite the breakup, Laetitia and Louis continue to prioritize Azel’s well-being. They’ve agreed to co-parent and create a stable, safe environment for him», the source noted.
Casta and Garrel met in 2015 at the Cannes Film Festival. Two years later, they secretly married in Corsica. The ceremony was private, attended only by close family and held without media coverage. In 2021, their son Azel was born. For Garrel, Azel is his first biological child. Casta already has three children from previous relationships. Garrel previously dated actress Valeria Bruni Tedeschi for five years – together, they adopted a girl from Senegal, whom they named Celine.
