Kristina Sprenger Showcases Oktoberfest 2025 Fashion Trends

Although this year’s Oktoberfest in Munich will not begin until September 20, 2025, Salzburg has already unveiled the collections that will set the tone for next year’s celebration. At the «Fesch» exhibition at Brandboxx Salzburg, traditional clothing makers presented upcoming trends, reports OE24.

The main focus is on preserving authenticity. Dirndls and lederhosen remain iconic symbols of Bavarian culture, yet designers are offering modern interpretations: muted tones, subtle embellishments, and slight updates to the cuts.

The event’s ambassador was Austrian actress Kristina Sprenger, well known to audiences for the series Soko Kitz. She emphasized her special connection to traditional attire, recalling that she wore a dirndl for the first time at the age of ten, while serving as a market assistant in the shooting club of her hometown, Reichenau.
