King Charles III and Queen Camilla attended the Easter service in Windsor

Once again, without William and Kate
Sunday morning in Windsor echoed with church bells and camera flashes: as tradition dictates, the British royal family attended the Easter service at St. George’s Chapel.
Leading the procession were King Charles III and his wife. Queen Camilla chose a deep cornflower-blue outfit with a matching hat, once again favouring elegant minimalism. The monarch wore a dark navy suit complemented by a light blue tie and a pocket square in the same tone.
Also present was Prince Andrew. Despite years of reputational scandals and his effective removal from royal duties, he accompanied his parents as a family member and appeared confident.
His appearance once again sparked debate: how appropriate is it for the disgraced duke to take part in such a significant ceremony? Yet, as some commentators sarcastically noted, «on the day of forgiveness, there’s room even for Andrew.»
In contrast, the absence of Prince William, Princess Catherine, and their children was notable. Following the Princess’s recent statement regarding her health, their decision to stay away from public events was met with public understanding.
At the same time, many observed that without the younger generation of Windsors, the Easter service lacked some of its usual family warmth.
On the fashion front: the Duchess of Edinburgh, Sophie, wore a long burgundy coat paired with a pink hat. Princess Anne appeared in a restrained green ensemble, adorned with a brooch.
The overall appearance of the royal women stayed true to tradition — their outfits were elegant, refined, and in keeping with royal etiquette.
Also in attendance were Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s daughters with their husbands — Princess Beatrice with Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, and Princess Eugenie with Jack Brooksbank.
It is worth noting that the annual Easter service is a significant event in the royal calendar, combining religious meaning with a public display of monarchical unity.
