Kevin Spacey Faces New Allegations of Sexual Misconduct

Preparations have begun in London for a new legal case against American actor Kevin Spacey. The trial is set to commence at the High Court of England and Wales on 12 October 2026. Unlike previous proceedings, this time the case concerns civil lawsuits filed by three men accusing Spacey of sexual misconduct. The actor denies all allegations.

According to the plaintiffs, the incidents occurred between 2000 and 2013. The identities of two of the claimants remain undisclosed.

The third claimant, actor Ruairi Cannon, has waived his anonymity and publicly accused Spacey of inappropriate behaviour at a party.

The last major trial involving Spacey took place in the summer of 2023, when a jury at Southwark Crown Court found him not guilty on all nine criminal charges related to alleged assaults on four men. Spacey later stated that many accusers were attempting to seek financial gain by exploiting his name and using the scandal to influence the court.

The American actor, a two-time Academy Award winner, was once regarded as one of Hollywood’s leading figures. However, after actor and singer Anthony Rapp accused him of sexual misconduct in 2017, Spacey’s career swiftly collapsed. Around 30 additional individuals later came forward with similar claims.

Recently, Spacey revealed that he is effectively homeless following years of scandals and legal battles. To cover legal fees, he was forced to sell his properties and live in hotels. According to him, he now moves from place to place, guided solely by the need to earn a living.
