Kate Middleton and Prince William celebrated their wedding anniversary in Scotland

A visit to the Isle of Mull
On April 29, 2011, British Prince William and his beloved Kate Middleton officially became husband and wife. The couple chose to celebrate their agate wedding anniversary (14 years) on the Scottish Isle of Mull.
This trip was nostalgic for William and Kate, as they had visited the island during their student years, two decades ago. They vacationed there in 2005 after their final university exams.
Together with a group of friends, they rented the «Victoria» cottage on Breadalbane Street in Tobermory. The 22-year-old William and 23-year-old Kate spent four days in the rented house overlooking the harbor before returning to university for their graduation ceremony in June.
The Isle of Mull, the fourth-largest in Scotland, has around 3,000 residents and is known for its tourism, agriculture, and fishing.
The Prince and Princess of Wales appeared in coordinated outfits: light blue button-down shirts, blazers, and jeans, reflecting their relaxed yet elegant style.
They visited a local community center, a crafts market, and even tried their hand at using a nail gun.
Additionally, the couple toured a playground and met with several local families. Later, they visited a farm.
«How wonderful it is to return to the Isle of Mull. Thank you all for such a warm welcome,» said the Prince and Princess of Wales.
As a reminder, Prince William and Kate Middleton are raising three children: Prince George (11), Princess Charlotte (9), and Prince Louis, who recently turned 7.
This visit to Scotland was their first joint public appearance after spending several weeks with family. The couple had stepped back from public engagements to celebrate Easter with their children and Kate’s family in Norfolk.
