Kate Middleton and Prince William have arrived in Scotland on an official visit, where they are set to meet athletes who will represent Great Britain at the 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The royal couple’s first stop was the iconic The Kelpies monument in Falkirk – a striking 30-metre-high sculpture of horse heads created by Scottish sculptor Andy Scott.
«Meeting Duke and Baron», reads the caption beneath the published photograph. These were the names of the real horses that served as the inspiration for the monument.
The Prince and Princess of Wales later visited the tartan weaving studio Radical Weavers, where they met with its founders and learned more about the traditions and heritage of Scottish textile craftsmanship.
Notably, William and Catherine’s visit to Scotland coincides with Prince Harry’s stay in London, where he is currently involved in legal proceedings against the publisher of the Daily Mail.
For the trip, Kate Middleton opted for a checked coat paired with understated jewellery.
It is also worth noting that in the newly released images, the 44-year-old princess appears with her natural hair colour once again. In recent months, she had been seen in public with varying shades, occasionally featuring lighter strands, which fuelled speculation about a possible resumption of chemotherapy related to a previously diagnosed oncological condition. According to sources, Kate took note of these rumours and, in a private conversation, clarified that the changes in her appearance were simply due to her hair being lightened by the sun.
