Kanye West and his ex-wife Kim Kardashian are once again at the centre of a conflict. The Kardashians have filed a lawsuit over the song Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine, which features their 11-year-old daughter North.
The situation is exacerbated by the fact that the scandalous P. Diddy joined the creation of the track.
The Kardashians are outraged that West «dragged» their daughter into a project with a controversial artist, writes Daily Mail.
The scandal erupted after Kanye’s Saturday post on social media platform X, where he officially named the participants in the recording. According to preliminary data, the song features the voices of North, P. Diddy (Sean Combs) and his son Christian.
The rapper and producer Sean Combs is accused of molesting minors, numerous cases of rape of both men and women, but Kanye West continues to support his friend.
Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian is determined to have the new track removed so that her daughter is not associated with such a person.
The song Lonely Roads Still Go to Sunshine begins with the words of Sean Combs, who, while in prison, expresses his gratitude to Kanye for his support. After that, North appears on the record with a short rap verse about light and shine.
It seems that West decided that involving his daughter in the recording of the track would be a good idea, but Kardashian strongly disagrees. According to the Daily Mail, she has already filed a lawsuit, demanding that the song be banned and “completely removed”.
Earlier, Kanye posted screenshots of his correspondence with Kim on social media, but then quickly deleted them. In the messages, he threatened her with a «real war» and said that if she was against North’s participation in the track, he would agree to remove her «only over my dead body».
It seems that now that the song is online, the battle has begun. Kim intends to do everything she can to protect her children from their father’s bad influence.
