A spectacular premiere of the second season of «Wednesday» — one of Netflix’s biggest hits — took place in the capital of the United Kingdom, London. The main cast appeared on the purple carpet at Central Hall Westminster, showcasing stylish looks in the dark aesthetic of the series.
Naturally, the star of the evening was 22-year-old Jenna Ortega, who plays the lead role of Wednesday Addams. She chose a semi-transparent gown with a burnt-edge effect and a mermaid silhouette, emphasizing her gothic charm.
Catherine Zeta-Jones, who portrays Morticia Addams, captivated the public with an elegant black dress featuring an open back, a high collar, and a daring slit. Her look was completed with understated makeup, a sleek bun, and clear heels. Interestingly, Catherine was accompanied by her charming niece Ava.
Also in attendance was 79-year-old Joanna Lumley, who plays Grandmama Frump — she opted for a refined look with a decorated cape. Meanwhile, 28-year-old Joy Sunday (Bianca Barclay) stunned in a knitted dress paired with lace stockings reminiscent of Alexander McQueen’s style.

The «Wednesday» series follows the daughter of the Addams family — a charismatic teenage girl with supernatural powers who enrolls at Nevermore Academy, a school for outcasts with extraordinary abilities. In the first season, the heroine investigated a series of mysterious events and discovered her gift of clairvoyance.
The second season is set to premiere on August 6, 2025 — more than two years after the release of the first season. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Netflix has already confirmed a third season and announced a spin-off in development.
