It looks like Beyoncé’s husband, rapper Shawn Carter [Jay-Z’s real name – Ed.] will have to protect his reputation. The 55-year-old artist, along with his mate, the infamous P.Diddy, was accused of abusing a 13-year-old girl, the Daily Mail reports, citing court documents.
The incident occurred in 2000 after the ceremony of naming MTV Video Music Awards at the home party organised by P. Diddy. The anonymous plaintiff, who was 13 years old at the time, appeared at the party, where she was asked to sing, after which she felt bad and went to rest. There, in one of the rooms, the girl was sacked by Jay-Z and P. Diddy in front of another celebrity, whose name is not disclosed. According to the victim, she managed to get out of the party.
Jay-Z has already commented on the accusation. The rapper simplified the words of plaintiff and stated that she together with her lawyer Toni Buzbi just tries to make money on his name.
«I am not from your moral world. I’m just a simple kid who’s from Brooklyn. We don’t play that kind of game. We have a very strong codex and honour. Only your bunch of conspiracy theorists will believe the idiotic accusations you’ve made against me», Jay-Z said.
Carter’s biggest worry in this situation is that he will have to explain this to his three children.
«My only pain is my family. My wife and I will have to explain this to our children, one of whom is at an age where her friends will certainly see the press and start asking questions about the nature of these allegations», he added.
