«I’m not a witch, I’m an icon!» – 78-year-old Cher in a new Uber Eats ad

A failed time travel attempt
Pop music icon Cher stars in a new advertising campaign for the food delivery service Uber Eats, developed by the agency Special Australia.
The video begins with the 78-year-old star humming the lyrics of her song If I Could Turn Back Time, which was released in 1989. Then, the singer grabs her phone and searches for a «time machine» in the Uber Eats app to travel back to the ’80s. But one must be careful with their wishes! Before Cher realizes it, she finds herself in a 1680s village, sitting on top of a cannon.
One of the village women looks Cher up and down, remarking that she looks «both young and old at the same time», while the surrounding crowd accuses her of being a witch.
«I’m not a witch, I’m an icon!» – Cher replies.
How did their argument end? Watch the video to find out!
Cher admitted that she constantly receives offers to star in commercials, but she is only drawn to «creative and fun» concepts.
This is the best ad we’ve seen in a while! Do you agree?
