Heidi Klum on the Cover of Paper with Her Children

A Family Trio in a Surreal Photoshoot
German supermodel Heidi Klum appears on the cover of Paper magazine alongside her children — 21-year-old Leni and 20-year-old Henry. The shoot, photographed by Max Montgomery, is executed in a vivid surrealist style and marks the family trio’s first appearance together in the fashion world.

For the cover, the 52-year-old Klum wears a pink Marc Cain suit while sitting on a bear sculpture with her daughter, as Henry stands behind them holding a baseball bat. The remaining scenes are equally striking: in one image, the family poses in a pristine white bathtub.

In the interview, Heidi reflects on the changes within the fashion industry over the past 20 years, particularly regarding attitudes toward motherhood. The model admits that during her pregnancy she faced pressure and prejudice: «Twenty years ago, there were not many pregnant women on television. When I was pregnant, not everyone wanted to work with me. Some people believed I had lost my appeal because I had become a mother. Before having children, I was perceived as a sexual woman, and afterward, only as a mother — as if I no longer deserved the same opportunities.»

Today, the supermodel’s children are confidently and actively carving out their own paths in the fashion industry. Henry has already made his runway debut in Paris, while Leni participates in advertising campaigns and has appeared alongside her mother for the brand Intimissimi.

Klum is a mother of four. Her eldest daughter, Leni, was born to businessman Flavio Briatore, while Henry, Johan, and Lou were born during the model’s marriage to British singer Seal.
