Grammy 2026: winners and notable star looks

The biggest event in the music world
The 68th annual Grammy Awards 2026 took place in Los Angeles – one of the most prestigious accolades in the global music industry. At the Crypto.com Arena, members of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences announced the year’s biggest musical triumphs.
This year, Kendrick Lamar, Lady Gaga, and Bad Bunny led the nominations – artists who have long transcended genres and actively shape the global music agenda.
Winners in the main categories
Song of the Year – Billie Eilish, Wildflower
Record of the Year – Kendrick Lamar was the evening’s big winner, taking home five out of nine nominations. This solidified his status as the most awarded hip-hop artist in Grammy history, bringing his total to 26. Previously, Jay-Z held the record with 25 awards (2025).
Album of the Year – Bad Bunny won the night’s top prize, seen both as an artistic and political statement. Many interpreted his victory as a response from the music community to Donald Trump’s strict immigration policies. This marks the first time in Grammy history that a Latin American artist and a Spanish-language album have won Album of the Year. In just a week, Bad Bunny will perform during the Super Bowl halftime show, cementing his status as a global pop icon.
Best New Artist – Olivia Dean
Best Pop Vocal Album – Lady Gaga, Mayhem
Best Rap Album – Kendrick Lamar, GNX
Best R&B Album – Leon Thomas, Mutt
The full list of winners is available on the official Grammy website.
The ceremony was remembered not only for the awards but also for the spectacular performances. Among the most talked-about were Lady Gaga’s hardcore rendition of the cult hit «Abracadabra» and Justin Bieber’s eccentric stage appearance. The singer walked on stage in only his underwear, showcasing a new tattoo on his back – a portrait of his wife Hailey – instantly causing a sensation across social media and tabloids.
Beyond honoring the winners, the red carpet looks drew just as much attention.
The most eccentric outfit of the night was Chappell Roan in a topless Mugler dress – a bold, deliberately provocative look that went viral immediately.
The trend of «bare» outfits was continued by Heidi Klum. The model revisited Bianca Cenzori’s controversial look from last year, presenting a more restrained and refined version.
Tyla also drew attention: the singer appeared in a vintage Dsquared2 look from the Fall-Winter 2013 collection.
Addison Rae delivered a memorable fashion homage, inspired by Marilyn Monroe in an Alaïa dress.
The Haim sisters opted for understated elegance, posing in Louis Vuitton ensembles.
Billie Eilish chose classic minimalism in a sleek Hodakova outfit, while Lady Gaga showcased a dramatic black feathered gown, reaffirming her status as the queen of theatrical glamour.
Miley Cyrus embraced a total black aesthetic in a Celine suit.
In contrast, Sabrina Carpenter wore a feminine and striking Valentino dress, breaking up the evening’s predominantly monochrome palette.
Justin and Hailey Bieber, often criticized for mismatched outfits, surprised with coordinated style: both appeared in black total looks – Hailey in Alaïa, Justin in Balenciaga – each accented with Ice-Out pins as a statement against Trump’s immigration policies.
Another power couple, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen, made an equally elegant entrance in Caroline’s Couture outfits.
