Gisele Bündchen’s Family Is Concerned About Her New Marriage

It’s About the Money
Gisele Bündchen’s family is reportedly unhappy about her decision to marry the father of her youngest child, Joaquim Valente. According to Page Six, citing insiders close to the couple, the relatives of the 45-year-old supermodel are concerned about the significant disparity in the spouses’ incomes, fearing it could lead to problems in the future.
«Her family warned her that marrying a guy who doesn’t have a penny to his name when she is worth millions is a mistake,» an insider claimed.

Although Valente not only teaches martial arts but also owns his own academy in Miami, those close to Bündchen insist that, financially speaking, the two are “in completely different weight classes.” The model herself, insiders say, was guided by traditional values and gave in to pressure, deciding that the birth of a shared child was reason enough to take this step and get married.
It is reported that the couple signed a prenuptial agreement ahead of the ceremony. However, Bündchen’s family fears that this may not be sufficient to fully protect the star’s finances.
«Yes, there is a prenup. But it contains loopholes that mean Valente would receive financial compensation in the event of a divorce,» the insider adds.

It is worth recalling that in 2000, Bündchen signed what was then the largest modeling contract in history—a five-year deal with Victoria’s Secret worth $25 million. In addition to runway work, she has fronted advertising campaigns for Chanel, Pantene, Under Armour, Apple, IWC, and many other brands.
