Former Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz becomes a father for the second time

And shares the first photo of the newborn

Former Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz has become a father once again. His partner, economist Susanne Thier, has given birth to another son. The boy has been named Valentin.

Kurz shared the joyful news on his social media. This is the couple’s second child; they are already raising a three-year-old son, Konstantin.

«Our greatest joy has doubled – yesterday, our son Valentin was born. Susanne and the baby are doing wonderfully – and Konstantin is a proud big brother who’s excited to discover life together with Valentin. We are overjoyed and deeply grateful to the entire hospital team for their loving care!» wrote the statesman, accompanying the message with the first photo of the newborn.

In the photo, the baby is held in the arms of his older brother, Konstantin.
