On April 7, she posted a photo with the singer and revealed that they had finally made peace. This happened over the weekend. Elton was set to perform on Saturday Night Live. When Madonna found out, she decided to join the show to meet her «enemy» in person. There was no confrontation or drama — he immediately apologized for offending her in the past.
«The first thing he said was: «forgive me», and the wall between us fell. Forgiveness is a powerful tool. Within minutes, we were hugging,» the singer wrote.
Even more surprising — Elton John offered to collaborate. He said he had written a track for her and would like to release a joint song. Madonna was touched; she had admired his music since childhood.
In her post, she confessed that she once skipped class just to attend his concert, which, according to her, changed her life.
«That performance changed my life. I always felt like an outsider. But when I saw him on stage, I realized it was okay to be different and walk a path no one else had taken,» she said.
Fans warmly welcomed the news of their reconciliation and are now eagerly awaiting their musical duet. Elton John also shared Madonna’s post on his blog, saying it marked a healing moment for him.
Online, many suggest that due to his recent vision problems, Elton has reassessed his values and now cherishes his relationships more deeply — Madonna included.
