Designer Kim Jones honored with the Legion of Honor Order

France’s highest award
Kim Jones, the creative director of Dior Men’s collections, has been named a Knight of the Legion of Honor Order — France’s highest distinction. The award was presented to the British designer by Anna Wintour. The most influential woman in the fashion industry adjusted her schedule to personally bestow the honor.
The award ceremony took place in Paris yesterday, immediately following the Dior Men’s Fall-Winter 2025/2026 show. The event was also attended by actors Robert Pattinson and Gwendoline Christie.
It is worth noting that this is not the only award Kim Jones has received. In 2020, he was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire for his contributions to the fashion industry.

As for the new collection, Kim Jones delved into the brand’s archives, specifically Christian Dior’s 1954 Fall collection — the H-Line.
According to Jones, modern men in the upcoming season should wear more pieces with an emphasis on the waistline. For example, updated versions of Christian Dior’s classic women’s jackets, belted kimonos, wide high-waisted trousers, fitted sweaters, and more.
