Cream suit and Queen Elizabeth II’s earrings: Kate Middleton attends Easter service with family

For the first time in two years
The British royal family gathered for the traditional Easter service at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle. The procession was led by King Charles III and Queen Camilla.

They were joined by the Prince and Princess of Wales with their children – a long-awaited public appearance following a two-year hiatus.

For the occasion, Kate Middleton chose a cream Self-Portrait suit she had worn previously. She complemented the look with a Juliette Millinery hat adorned with oak leaves, Ralph Lauren pumps, and a DeMellier London handbag. The ensemble was elevated by teardrop earrings featuring Bahraini pearls from Queen Elizabeth II’s personal collection.
These pieces of jewelry, originally based on a wedding gift from the King of Bahrain, had appeared multiple times in official portraits of the Queen. According to insiders, they later passed to Kate and now accompany her to major events, including the funerals of Prince Philip and the Queen, as well as Commonwealth Day celebrations.

Princess Charlotte appeared in a beige Catherine Walker coat, beneath which a pleated light-blue chiffon Self-Portrait dress could be seen. The outfit was completed with leather Tory Burch ballet flats.
Prince William and his sons, George and Louis, appeared in classic suits with light-blue ties.

It is worth noting that last year, the Prince and Princess of Wales missed the Easter service; shortly before, Kate had revealed that she underwent preventive chemotherapy. In January 2025, she announced her remission, making this appearance an important public return following her recovery.
